Referral Program Terms & Conditions

These terms govern GhOst's referral program. By sharing your referral link, you agree to the policies below. The commission structure and payout terms described here are the authoritative source of truth.

1. Commission Structure

You earn a commission for every referred user who successfully purchases a paid GhOst plan. Your commission rate is tiered and rises with your total lifetime earnings: 15% on your first ₹10,000 earned, 20% from ₹10,000 to ₹50,000, and 25% once you cross ₹50,000. Rates apply to the referred plan's purchase price and are paid directly to your registered bank account. Commission rates and tiers may change at any time without prior notice (see Section 8).

INR equivalent amounts are approximate and subject to exchange rate fluctuations at time of payout. USD amounts are fixed.

2. Eligibility

You must have an active GhOst account in good standing to participate.
You may not refer yourself or create accounts to generate fraudulent commissions.
Referrals made through spam, paid advertising, or misleading claims are disqualified.
GhOst reserves the right to disqualify referrers found violating these terms without prior notice.

3. How It Works

Share your unique referral link. When a friend clicks it and signs up, they are tagged as your referral.
Once they verify their email, both of you receive a free 24-hour full-access Pro trial.
If your referred friend purchases any paid plan, you earn the commission shown above, paid directly to your bank account.
Commissions are only triggered by the referred user's first successful payment.

4. Payout & Payment

Commissions are paid directly to your registered bank account or UPI handle.
Payouts are processed within 14 business days after the referred user's payment clears and any refund window has passed.
Minimum payout threshold: $7.50 / ₹705. Amounts below this threshold roll over to the next eligible conversion.
GhOst uses Razorpay Payouts or Stripe Connect for disbursements. You may be required to complete KYC/KYB depending on your jurisdiction.
Commissions are subject to applicable taxes. You are responsible for declaring referral income in your jurisdiction.

5. Refunds & Chargebacks

If a referred user's purchase is refunded or charged back, the associated commission is voided or recovered from future payouts.
GhOst will notify you if a commission is reversed.

6. Free Trial Days

Both referrer and referred user receive a free 24-hour Pro trial upon the referred user verifying their account.
These trial days are separate from commission payouts and do not affect eligibility for cash rewards.
Trial days are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and expire if not used.

7. Prohibited Uses

Using paid search ads, social media ads, or any paid channel to promote your referral link.
Misrepresenting GhOst's product, pricing, or the referral program in any way.
Creating fake or duplicate accounts to generate commissions.
Cookie stuffing, click injection, or any automated or fraudulent referral technique.

8. Program Changes & Termination

GhOst may modify, pause, suspend, or terminate the referral program, or change commission rates, tiers, thresholds, and payout terms, at any time and without prior notice, at its sole discretion.
GhOst reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or forfeit commissions and to block, suspend, or disqualify any participant where fraud, self-referral, fake or duplicate accounts, chargebacks, bot sign-ups, or abuse is detected or reasonably suspected.
Commissions already confirmed on genuine conversions before a change will generally be honoured, but GhOst's determination on all referral matters is final and binding.

9. Limitation of Liability

GhOst's total liability to you under the referral program shall not exceed the commissions actually earned and unpaid at the time of any dispute.
GhOst is not liable for delays in payout caused by third-party payment processors or regulatory requirements.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
